A GIRL AND HER CAT(S)

In September 2005, Sara Abrams moved from Los Angeles, CA to Charlotte, NC, "the buckle of the Bible Belt", oy vey.  Interestingly enough, it was the best thing she ever did.  Leaving her erstwhile friends behind in Cali she set out to make a new life for herself.  Her cat Sam soon followed having appropriately enough been flown out on the "Kitty Hawk" cargo plane.  They soon settled into a routine of eating grits in the morning and creating magazines deep into the night.

First came the general interest magazine, The MECK, about Mecklenburg County and its past, present and future.  That soon evolved into Cats & Dogs of Charlotte, Charlotte's first cat and dog magazine (followed quickly by other copy cat publications) featuring feel good stories about the cats and dogs of Charlotte and their people. 

The magazines were dissolved and Ms. Abrams began to create marketing for small businesses.  This included print ads, email blast campaigns, brochures and events.  She also began a number of networking groups - Commerce Connections and Carolinas Veterans Connections, along with a popular, by-invitation-only, Girls Night Out.  She also began producing workshops presented by some of the best sales trainers in town.
