Interview with Denise Cooper of Coach HR
Conducted by Sara Abrams
“As a performance coach, I work with my clients to both identify the skills necessary for success and then, through a process of deliberate practice, focus on identifying and improving specific behaviors and results that make a difference” Denise explains. “So when I tell a client working with me means you’ll achieve success easier and faster than if you go it alone, that’s exactly what they get. It’s the Honest Results promise”.
Denise’s company, Coach HR, uses a tool called the Hartman Value Profile (HVP). The HVP method is based upon work nominated for a Nobel Prize. The HVP along with her coaching program does three things for her clients:
1. Identify your unique value proposition (i.e. why your clients will pay for your products and services over someone else’s)
2. Understand how your thinking may be creating obstacles to your success and how to change your thinking to propel you towards your goals faster.
3. Build methods for identifying and tracking bottom line results.
Ms. Cooper gives workshops and speeches across America on three topics – Managing Your Career in a World of Chaos (for individuals); Managing Your Talent in a World of Chaos (for businesses); and Using Social Networking Media to Inspire Change, Creativity and Innovation.
